A new bar, Roar, is set to be located on the corner of College Ave and Earle Street and plans to bring a “club vibe” to Clemson with the “best lighting and sound system” in town, according to Sammi Webber, Clemson language and international health student and the owner’s daughter. The bar will offer authentic Mexican bites such as tacos, quesadillas and nachos, and classic Mexican cocktails like margaritas and mojitos. Roar is set to celebrate its grand opening in April or May 2023, pending construction.
